ECI was selected as the agency of record for ASOP Global to plan and implement strategic public relations and social media campaigns to generate awareness of the financial and health risks associated with buying prescription medicines online and the proliferation of illegal online pharmacies and counterfeit medicines.
Healthcare Providers Campaign
Most recently, we implemented the ASOP Global Healthcare Providers Campaign with 16 partners including the American Pharmacists Association and the American Medical Association to educate the 6 million pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers about this issue and provide them with resources to keep their patients safe online.
Previously, we launched the Older Americans Campaign with the Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies and National Consumers League to educate seniors and their caregivers. ECI produced and distributed a Multimedia News Release; designed an infographic; conducted extensive trade and social media outreach; and working with pharmacy, seniors, caregivers and other organizations to disseminate the materials; and a nationally syndicated podcast.
